About the Role

Propel is seeking an energetic and sharp sales account executive to set up demos of our PR SaaS platform by making outbound cold calls and sending cold emails to connect with PR professionals (50% of role). In addition to top of the funnel sales, this role will also involve managing the mid-and-bottom parts of the sales funnel, including giving product demos and creating invoices, to closing opportunities and deals, to onboarding clients, and maintaining client relationships/offering support.

This is an opportunity to have significant autonomy and growth potential, by coming in on the ground floor of a fast-growing, funded startup that is revolutionizing the public relations industry. You will own the entire sales process for the book of business you build, from generating the lead all the way until closing the deal, leading onboarding and managing/supporting the account after closing.

We are looking for a motivated self-starter with very strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must be able to understand and articulate our platform and educate prospects on the benefits that our new product category offers. This is a remote position, so the candidate must be able to work very independently and be happy to work remotely (our team is fully distributed across Israel and the United States). We are a fast-moving startup and are seeking someone who can learn quickly and hit the ground running.

Responsibilities and Duties

-Make outbound phone calls each day to generate interest in demos

-Send outbound emails each day

-Handle inbound leads by setting up demos for them

-Achieve assigned sales targets

-Learn the product and how it benefits the industry to grow Propel’s sales

-Take clear notes of conversations and organize workflow

-Lead discussions with prospects to better understand their challenges and needs

-Lead thorough product demos for prospective customers

-Follow up persistently until deal is closed

-Create and send invoices to close opportunities

-Onboard new customers onto the Propel platform

-Maintain relationships and manage accounts after purchase (including upselling and securing contract renewals)

-Offer product support to customers

Qualifications and Skills

-1+ years of experience in sales and/or college/university degree

-Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

-Comfortable being on the phone and making a high volume of daily outbound sales calls

-Passion for sales and solution selling

-A highly driven individual who can work very independently

-Team player that works respectfully with colleagues and prospects

-Committed to learning and growing

-High level of professionalism and responsibility as a core representative of an early-stage funded startup

-Experience working within a CRM preferred
